Polytex
Polytex is a 3-strand or 4-strand laid polypropylene rope with an additional UV stabilizer. This gives Polytex rope excellent resistance to UV radiation. Thanks to the specially twisted yarns, the rope is also highly abrasion-resistant. In addition, it floats.
Because of these properties and its robust, classic appearance, our Polytex rope is widely used in the running rigging of traditional vessels and tall ships.
